Pamela Carriker is a Mixed Media Artist. She is a Design
Team member for both variaZioNE (ZNE) and Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps,
has had her work published in Cloth, Paper, Scissors, Somerset Studio,
Stamper’s Sampler, and has the honor of being the featured guest artist in
August ‘08 Stampers’ Sampler. She currently has work on display at the Art
and Soul Gallery in Bothel, Washington.

She recently asked me to make a background for her blog! Take a look.

I still have lots of creations that I haven’t uploaded. I don’t really want to upload to the old gallery. I’m hoping the new gallery will be running shortly so I can upload everything in my crowded "finished" folder soon!

Moving can be a pain… moving a website can be an even larger pain! This migration has gone relatively smooth for now, but there is still lots to do.

I’m in the process of double checking and fixing links right now - moving post photos off Typepad and into the new server. If you see problems on this site, rest assured they will be fixed!

If you  are subscribed to  my former  blog  "Blogstamper", and you’d like to continue getting email updates from me, please resubscribe to Laycock Designs. I will be posting here from now on and I’ll be shutting down the old site in about a month’s time once I’ve fixed all the links! The Feedburner subscribe button is set up and ready to go! It is on the upper right sidebar.

It has been my dream to be able to have exactly the blog services I require at a reasonable cost. I started to find Typepad to be too limiting with regards to functionality. I’m so happy to have moved on to professional blog service where the sky’s the limit with regards to web functionality! The name change was due to the fact that the new blog will showcase creations that go beyond what I do for stampers and crafters. The name was also required at initial setup on the new server - and since Blogstamper was in use, I needed to pick another name. Any way you look at it, now is the right time for the change!

I just LOVE the new administrative end on this blog! And the options are limitless! I can’t wait to try some new, fun features!
